Accountant in Dubai, UAE


We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing account statements and maintaining accurate books.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with bookkeeping, financial modeling and analysis. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and be highly organized.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
• Develop and maintain accounting records
• Compile, analyze and present information for management decision-making purposes
• Prepare journal entries for monthly closings
• Reconcile bank accounts and process payments
• Coordinate annual audits
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Develop internal control policies and procedures
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with all regulations
• Maintain relationships with vendors, clients, suppliers etc.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study
• Proven experience as an accountant or equivalent role (at least 2 years)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) • Excellent numerical skills and analytical abilities • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills • Highly motivated individual eager to learn new things

We are offering a salary of 1100 AED per month along with other benefits commensurate with the job role. Candidates from abroad are welcome to apply for this position.
