Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various engineering duties related to the construction and maintenance of public works such as roads, bridges, buildings and other structures. Job Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience working on civil engineering projects. You must be proficient with AutoCAD and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Additionally, you must possess strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as organizational abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineer your duties will include but are not limited to designing plans for construction projects; preparing cost estimates; monitoring the progress of projects; ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations; conducting field surveys and inspections; liaising with contractors and subcontractors; providing technical advice; producing reports; resolving design issues; creating drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software; researching new materials or technologies that could improve construction processes; providing guidance on environmental regulations related to civil engineering projects; coordinating activities between different departments such as planning, surveying or structural engineering teams.
