Electrical Engineer in Doha, Qatar


We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and managing electrical systems for a variety of projects.

The ideal candidate should have a track record of successful project management and the ability to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The successful applicant should have a minimum of five years’ experience in the field and be well versed in the latest technologies and industry standards.

The duties of this role include:
- Designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Inspecting and evaluating existing electrical installations
- Developing plans, budgets, and technical specifications
- Developing proposals for new projects
- Working with other departments to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Adhering to safety regulations
- Supervising other technicians working on projects
- Keeping up to date with industry developments
- Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, etc.

The successful candidate should possess:
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. • Excellent knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design standards, codes & regulations. • Strong communication skills both written & verbal. • Excellent problem solving & organisational skills. • Ability to work independently or within a team environment. • Ability to manage multiple tasks & prioritise effectively. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities & deadlines. • Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems is beneficial but not essential.
