Welder

We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in welding.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Cut metal pieces to size as needed for the welding process
• Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld metal parts together
• Accurately measure and cut materials using hand tools or machines
• Inspect the finished products and ensure they meet the established standards and specifications
• Follow safety procedures when operating welding equipment
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools are in good working order
Qualifications and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Technical training in welding is preferred
• At least one year of experience in welding is required
• Good physical condition, with strong eyesight and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and processes (e.g. oxyacetylene)
• Good color perception skills
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
