Instrument Technician at Al Kuwait – 1700 Salary

We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team at Al Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and calibration of complex mechanical and electronic measuring instruments used in industrial environments. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of instrumentation control systems.

The job requires a candidate with a minimum of two years’ experience working as an instrument technician and a relevant qualification. Candidates should have knowledge of PLCs/DCSs/SCADA systems and programming languages such as ladder logic/function block diagrams. They should also be able to interpret technical drawings, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams and be familiar with instrumentation components such as sensors, transducers, valves, transmitters etc.

The successful candidate must possess the following:

- Excellent communication skills
- A minimum of two years' experience in the field
- Qualifications in engineering related to instrumentation technology
- An in-depth knowledge of instrumentation control systems
- Knowledge of PLCs/DCSs/SCADA systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with instrumentation components such as sensors, transducers, valves etc.

The Instrument Technician’s primary duties include installing various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature gauges, flowmeters etc., performing routine maintenance on instruments and equipment according to manufacturers’ recommendations; troubleshooting various electronic or mechanical issues; calibrating equipment; monitoring process conditions; conducting periodic inspections; testing instruments; updating records; preparing reports; documenting system changes or improvements; training personnel on the use of new equipment or software updates; providing technical advice to colleagues or customers when needed.
