We are looking for an experienced, reliable Optometrist to join our team in Zayed City. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent service and have a strong understanding of the optometric industry.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in optometry
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and frames
• Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages
• Good knowledge of computers and software programs related to optometry
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Job Description:
The Optometrist is responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services including vision testing, diagnosis, treatment and management of eye diseases. They also advise patients on eyeglasses and contact lenses that meet their specific needs. The Optometrist will provide excellent customer service to all clients ensuring that patient satisfaction is maintained at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform preliminary vision tests such as screening tests for glaucoma, cataracts and color blindness
• Obtain detailed patient histories including current medications, family history, etc.
• Examine eyes for visual acuity, muscle imbalance and other signs of disease or injury • Measure the power of lenses required to correct vision problems • Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses after determining the best corrective course of action • Monitor patients’ progress over time by recording changes in vision acuity • Advise patients on corrective measures such as diet changes or vision therapy where appropriate • Refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary • Educate patients on proper care for contacts or glasses • Keep accurate records of patient information and treatments provided

We are ready to consider a foreigner for this position with a salary of 1700 per month.
