We are looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team in Zayed City. The ideal candidate should have a passion for surveying and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The salary for the position is 1200. We are open to considering foreigners for the job.

Job Description:
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting site surveys, mapping out areas, developing plans, and recording survey results. This includes accurately measuring distances, angles and elevations of land with specialised equipment such as Total Stations, GNSS Receivers and Robotic Total Stations. Other duties include recognizing topographical features, preparing maps and sketches of survey results, researching legal documents such as deeds and boundary records, maintaining accurate survey records, coordinating with other surveyors or engineers on projects, producing field data reports, and checking calculations in order to ensure accuracy.

Demands for the Candidate:
The successful applicant should hold a degree or diploma in surveying or a related field; however experience is preferred over education when it comes to this role. In addition they must have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think independently; good communication skills; an eye for detail; physical fitness; an understanding of mathematics principles; knowledge of surveying software programmes such as AutoCAD; the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; sound judgement when making decisions onsite; familiarity with safety procedures; proficiency in using surveying equipment; an understanding of cartography principles and techniques; the ability to produce accurate reports detailing findings from surveys conducted.
