The Petroleum Engineer will be responsible for developing plans to maximize oil production and refining efficiency, as well as ensuring safe operations through monitoring and maintenance of petroleum-related installations.

The ideal candidate should have experience in oil exploration and production engineering, with an in-depth understanding of drilling operations and production systems. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of reservoir engineering principles.

To be successful in this role you must have:
• A degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering;
• At least three years’ experience in petroleum or chemical engineering;
• An in-depth understanding of drilling operations and production systems;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Knowledge of reservoir engineering principles;
• Ability to work independently and under pressure;
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
