We are looking for an experienced Sommelier with a passion for wine and great customer service to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of international wines and be able to provide excellent advice on food and drink pairings.

The position requires a high level of dedication and professionalism, as well as the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a clean workspace, handle customer queries and complaints promptly, and adhere to all safety regulations.

In addition to the above duties, the Sommelier will be responsible for providing guidance on selection of wines based on customer’s preferences, making recommendations for special occasions and events, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments, organizing tastings for customers, taking inventory of stock levels, developing new wine lists as necessary and collaborating with the restaurant team.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written as well as strong organizational skills. They must also have an eye for detail in order to ensure an optimal quality experience for customers. Previous experience in a similar role is required. A certificate from a recognized wine institution would be considered an advantage.
