The candidate must have excellent communication skills and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The main duties of a Land Surveyor include: conducting land surveys using specialized survey equipment; analyzing survey outcomes; creating maps and diagrams based on the collected data; ensuring accuracy of data; preparing reports on survey findings; providing advice on technical matters; participating in fieldwork with partners or clients as needed.
