Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Mason to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of brick, stone, and other structural materials according to plans and specifications. The Mason must be able to work with a wide range of tools, equipment and materials while adhering to safety regulations.

Demands for the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Mason in a construction or masonry environment. He/she must possess excellent problem solving skills as well as being able to pay attention to details. The successful applicant must also have the ability to read blueprints and diagrams with accuracy.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Install brick, stone, tiles, concrete blocks, glass blocks and other structural materials according to plans or drawings
• Measure cut or shape bricks, stones or blocks as required
• Examine building plans or drawings for masonry requirements
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed while working
• Maintain tools in a safe condition
• Mix mortar according to specified proportions
• Assemble components using a variety of hand tools
• Finish surfaces using power saws, grinders and polishers

Work Experience & Education:
The Mason should have at least 5 years of experience in construction or masonry work along with knowledge of different types of cement and mortar mixing techniques. A diploma in Construction Technology is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of local building codes is an asset.
