Surveyor in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE


We are looking for a Surveyor to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. This position is responsible for surveying and mapping specific land areas, as well as providing topographical and structural data. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, regulations and codes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field and at least 3 years of experience in the same role. The ability to work independently and in a team setting is also essential for this role. The successful applicant will be an excellent problem solver with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with management staff and other stakeholders.

The Surveyor is expected to collect data using appropriate tools such as GIS, GPS receivers, mapping instruments, etc., analyze collected data and make precise calculations for various tasks such as contour mapping, boundary determination, etc., prepare detailed maps based on survey results; review documents such as deeds or titles; develop designs based on survey results; provide professional advice on development projects; supervise junior staff if necessary; maintain complete records of all surveys conducted; ensure that all activities comply with relevant laws and regulations; review boundary line disputes or discrepancies between two or more parties; interact with clients regarding project requirements and progress updates; prepare reports summarizing surveys conducted.

The successful applicant will be offered a salary of 1500 AED per month plus other benefits. We welcome applications from immigrants who meet all essential criteria for this role.
