Electrician in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE


We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems, as well as knowledgeable of all relevant safety standards.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to work within a team environment. Experience working with both domestic and commercial electrical systems is essential.

Responsibilities include:
• Installing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems and components
• Troubleshooting problems and replacing parts or components as necessary
• Interpreting drawings, diagrams and blueprints
• Working safely on ladders or lifts
• Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations and safety standards
• Maintaining accurate records of tasks performed
• Using a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices and power tools
• Assisting electricians who install larger systems such as generators or motors in commercial buildings.

The successful candidate will possess:
• A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Relevant electrician experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of applicable codes Safety standards Electrical schematics Low voltage wiring techniques Electrical system design Blueprints Test equipment operation Installation/repair techniques Tools & devices used in the trade Electronic components/devices Motor/generator maintenance • Ability to work independently • Excellent problem-solving skills • Manual dexterity & physical stamina • Good communication & customer service skills • Attention to detail & accuracy
