Job Description

Determine the existence of electrical hazards and problems. Safely isolate, ground, and prepare circuits and electrical apparatus to enable repairs.

Have knowledge of and use the required personal protective equipment to protect against arc flash and shock.

Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.Plant Maint Electrician

Read/interpret engineering drawings and manuals to install, calibrate and maintain electrical apparatus. Work from complex engineering and manufacturers drawings or manuals to complete projects and assigned work.

Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring.
