Petroleum Engineer - Dubai

A leading oil and gas company in Dubai is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the drilling, completion and production operations of oil and gas wells. This includes optimizing production from existing wells and designing new wells to maximize performance.

The successful candidate must have a degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field, along with at least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. Candidates with prior experience in offshore drilling are preferred. A valid driver’s license is also required.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: designing well plans, evaluating results of well surveys, developing drilling programs, monitoring well progress against plans, analyzing core samples, studying reservoir data to develop strategies for increasing production and reliability, recording data and preparing reports on current projects. Additionally the engineer will be responsible for training personnel on safety protocols as well as writing standard operating procedures.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills as they will be responsible for interacting with other departments, contractors and clients when necessary. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential for success in this role. The salary for this role is 1400 per month depending on qualifications and experience. We are willing to consider foreign candidates for this position.
