We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the field of optometry and a desire to work with a high degree of precision and accuracy.

The successful candidate should be able to perform eye exams and be knowledgeable about contact lenses, eyeglasses, and general vision care. They should also possess excellent interpersonal skills as they will be interacting with clients on a regular basis.

To be successful as an Optometrist, you must possess excellent communication skills, good problem-solving abilities, and an eye for detail. You should have good hand-eye coordination to effectively carry out optometric tests.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses
• Diagnose vision problems or abnormalities
• Advise patients on proper eye care
• Educate patients about vision health topics
• Help patients select frames for eyeglasses or contacts lenses
• Maintain patient records and document findings from exams

Demands for the Candidate:
• Degree in optometry from an accredited college or university
• Experience with optometric testing equipment such as retinal cameras and corneal topographers preferred but not essential
• Ability to identify potential medical problems or refer them to an ophthalmologist if necessary
