We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality and professional eye care to our patients.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified optometrist who is familiar with the latest advances in vision care technologies. They should also be knowledgeable about the different types of lenses, frames, and contact lenses available on the market. Additionally, they should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.

The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, including ophthalmic history-taking, visual acuity measurement, refraction assessment, retinoscopy and tonometry tests, as well as slit lamp examination. They will also diagnose and treat eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts through relevant examinations and tests. Furthermore, they will assess patients’ needs for contact lenses or glasses and provide advice on how best to use them.

In addition to providing top-notch eye care services, the Optometrist must keep accurate records of all patient examinations and treatments in accordance with legal requirements. They should also stay up-to-date with new technologies and developments in their field so that they can continuously provide high-quality care to our patients.

The successful candidate must have a degree in Optometry from a recognized college or university along with at least two years of related experience in an optometric clinic or hospital setting. Candidates must have full registration with the Qatar Council for Health Specialties (QCHP) or equivalent qualifications from another country and be willing to transfer their license if necessary. We are willing to consider foreign candidates who meet all requirements as well as local applicants who possess native Arabic language skills.

This is a full-time position that offers an annual salary of 1400 QAR per month plus benefits such as health insurance coverage for you and your family members, annual leave entitlements, free parking facilities onsite, etc.
