Sommelier Vacancy in Dubai
We are looking for a talented and passionate Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate must have excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and other beverage products from around the world. The Sommelier will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for guests by providing advice on food and beverage pairings as well as delivering excellent customer service.

Job Description:
The Sommelier is responsible for providing knowledgeable guidance on food and wine pairings for our guests. They will also be expected to keep up with current trends in the industry, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all wines offered, be familiar with local laws pertaining to alcohol sales and services, as well as provide outstanding customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of wines, spirits, beer, cocktails, etc., available at the restaurant
• Provide guests with detailed information on available wines/spirits/beers/cocktails; make recommendations based off personal preferences and taste
• Recommend appropriate pairings between food items and drinks
• Ensure compliance with all local laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages
• Monitor guest satisfaction levels to ensure high standards of service are maintained throughout the dining experience
• Adhere to proper safety regulations when handling alcoholic beverages at all times
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of alcoholic beverages
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area during shifts

Qualifications & Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ experience working as a Sommelier in a high-end restaurant or resort setting preferred
• Proven track record of wine knowledge; WSET certification is a plus
• Understanding of food pairing principles; ability to make suggestions based off taste preferences
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills; friendly demeanor with an aptitude for interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Must be 21 years or older • Willingness to relocate to Dubai if necessary • Excellent spoken English is required; additional languages are beneficial but not required

Salary: 1000 AED
