We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Doha. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together to create structures and products.

We offer a competitive salary of 1200 and the opportunity to work with a great team of professionals. This position is open to applicants from abroad and no experience is required.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:

• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces together
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as welder (experience with stainless steel is an asset)
• Working knowledge of welding tools and procedures for steel, aluminum etc.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Excellent physical condition for manual labor (standing for long periods of time)
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods in a loud environment
