Job Summary:
We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the organization, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements and reports, managing accounts receivable and payable, reviewing payroll processing and more. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of finance and accounting principles, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Balance daily entries in accounting system by reconciling invoices, purchase orders, vouchers and bank statements
• Record daily transactions such as sales receipts, deposits and expenditures
• Prepare monthly financial statements including profit/loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
• Develop budget plans that include income projections on a quarterly basis
• Monitor account balances to ensure accuracy of information
• Prepare quarterly tax reports in compliance with local regulations
• Review payroll processing procedures for accuracy
• Reconcile accounts receivable/payable on a regular basis
• Identify areas of improvement in accounting processes
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 3 years experience as an Accountant or equivalent role • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and accounting software (QuickBooks) • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Knowledge of taxation regulations • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
