The role of Web Developer involves developing websites that are both user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. You would be responsible for the full website development process from concept to implementation. This includes designing the site layout, coding the necessary webpages using HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and other scripting languages, testing the website for functionality, making sure all links are working properly, integrating databases with the website when necessary, optimizing the website for search engine optimization (SEO) purposes, troubleshooting any errors that may arise during development or after launch, and updating existing websites as needed.

To be successful in this role you should have extensive knowledge of front-end web development technologies such as HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript; experience with back-end technologies such as PHP/MySQL; strong understanding of how web applications work including security principles; good debugging skills; attention to detail; excellent communication skills; problem solving aptitude; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; knowledge of version control systems such as Git is beneficial but not essential.
