Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from place to place efficiently, safely and in an economically viable manner. As a Truck Driver, you will be required to have excellent driving skills, knowledge of the roads and an ability to follow instructions accurately. You must also have a valid driver’s license.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a good sense of direction, an eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure. You should also have excellent customer service skills and be able to keep track of deliveries. We are looking for someone who is reliable and punctual with a clean driving record.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Operate trucks to transport goods safely and responsibly
• Adhere to all safety regulations while loading, unloading, operating or maintaining vehicles
• Manage routes according to delivery schedules
• Follow instructions from dispatches or supervisors accurately
• Maintain truck log books according to regulations
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, brakes etc.
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
• Report any accidents or violations immediately

Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s License with no violations
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in truck driving
• Expertise in operating standard transmission vehicles • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 40 lbs • Knowledge of DOT standards and safety regulations • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent customer service skills
