Position Summary
We are looking for a Chemist to join our team in Haur-Fakkan, to assist us with our research and development projects. The successful candidate will need to have three years of experience in a similar role and be confident in their ability to work on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct laboratory experiments, analyse data, and report outcomes
• Design, develop and implement new processes for producing and testing chemicals
• Monitor product quality standards and safety standards for chemical products
• Analyse complex samples, such as industrial wastewater or oils, using various instruments like titrators or chromatographs
• Develop accurate standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical operations
• Troubleshoot problems related to the production process or chemical quality control issues
• Advise laboratory staff on the safe handling of hazardous materials like acids or solvents
• Monitor stock levels of chemicals and other materials needed for laboratory experiments or production processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of chemistry

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited university.
• Three years of experience working as a chemist in a laboratory setting.
• Knowledgeable with relevant industry best practices, research techniques and regulations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
