Job Description - Chef

- Proven experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience in a high-end restaurant
- Ability to manage a kitchen staff and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations
- Creative approach to menu design and presentation
- A diploma or certificate in culinary arts or related field is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Responsibilities:
- Create menu items based on customer feedback, budget constraints, and seasonal availability
- Prepare meals according to established recipes while adhering to safety standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they follow all food safety regulations while maintaining quality control standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train kitchen staff on proper techniques for food preparation, presentation and storage
