Surveyor – Doha
A Surveyor is sought for a leading construction firm in Doha, offering a salary of 1600. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out surveying duties on a range of projects.

Job Description:
The Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the setting out and control of construction sites, carrying out surveys to provide data and measurements to ensure accuracy, undertaking site surveys and inspections to check that work complies with technical specifications, and preparing reports related to the work. The role also includes providing advice on setting out procedures and techniques, ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to, and liaising with clients.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• A minimum of two years' experience in surveying with an emphasis on construction or civil engineering.
• Excellent understanding of relevant survey techniques and methods.
• Knowledge of the principles of engineering science (e.g. geometry) and measurement technology (e.g., levels).
• Proficiency in using survey instruments (e.g., EDM).
• Ability to read architectural/engineering plans and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines where required.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English is essential; Arabic language skills would be an advantage but not essential.
• Must possess a valid driver’s licence; experience driving 4x4s would be an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work away from home when required; availability for international travel if necessary is preferred but not mandatory.
