The Paramedic will be a vital member of our team, providing medical care that is essential to the health and well-being of our patients. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description: The Paramedic will be responsible for providing medical care to individuals in need. This includes assessing the patient’s condition, administering medications, performing CPR and other life-saving procedures as necessary, diagnosing illnesses and injuries, communicating with doctors and other healthcare professionals on behalf of the patient, maintaining records of treatments provided and preparing reports for review.

Duties:
• Performing pre-hospital assessments, interventions and treatments to manage acute medical conditions;
• Ensuring medical protocols are followed;
• Responding quickly and efficiently to life-threatening or urgent medical situations;
• Assisting in the transport of patients;
• Documenting patient care activities in accordance with established standards;
• Maintaining professional relationships with other members of the healthcare team;
• Maintaining equipment in good working order;
• Educating patients on self-care practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required;
• Certification as a Paramedic from an accredited institution required; • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more required; • Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred; • A valid driver’s license is strongly preferred (for some positions); • Good communication skills (verbal & written) are essential for this position.
