Job Responsibilities:
• Designing and implementing drilling programs as well as production plans
• Monitoring production operations to ensure maximum efficiency
• Developing safety protocols for personnel working in hazardous environments
• Implementing new technologies to optimize operations
• Supervising the installation of reservoir monitoring systems
• Carrying out research related to petroleum engineering processes and systems
• Preparing technical reports on results of research activities
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years’ experience in the oil & gas industry
• Knowledge of drilling and production techniques
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
