Sommelier - Dubai

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sommelier to join us in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests as we strive to exceed their expectations. In addition, you will be expected to curate a comprehensive selection of wines, beers and spirits that reflect the restaurant’s style, passion and philosophy.

Requirements:
• At least 2 years experience working as a Sommelier in fine-dining restaurants
• Knowledge of the latest trends in food and beverage pairings
• Ability to create wine lists with diverse selections from around the world
• Ability to deliver accurate descriptions of wines and spirits to guests
• Excellent customer service skills with an approachable personality
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests as we strive to exceed their expectations. This includes tasting, selecting, pricing and ordering beverages according to our standards. You will be actively involved in creating organic relationships with winemakers and distributors in order to ensure that our wine list remains up-to-date with new releases from around the world. As part of your role you will also be required to provide knowledgeable advice when pairing food items with beverages, while educating staff on product knowledge. You must also have excellent customer service skills with an approachable personality while having the flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
