We are looking for a talented Librarian to join our team in Dubai. This position offers a salary of 900 and we are open to considering immigrants for the role. We welcome applications from those with no experience in the field.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for books and knowledge, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. We are looking for someone who is confident and able to take initiative while working independently or with a team.

Responsibilities of the position include:
- Manage the library’s collection; including cataloguing, organizing, and shelving resources
- Assist patrons with locating materials and provide reference services
- Design and implement programming around library resources
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, such as circulation activity
- Assist patrons in using online databases, e-books, and other digital resources
- Develop library displays to showcase collections or promote literacy initiatives
- Collaborate with local schools or community organizations on special projects

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting (preferred)
- Proficiency in using information technology systems
- Knowledge of cataloguing systems, such as Dewey Decimal Classification (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Excellent organizational skills
