Electrical Engineer in Doha, Qatar


We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Doha. This position will be responsible for designing, developing and managing electrical systems for new and existing projects. The Electrical Engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems related to electrical systems.

The successful candidate must have a degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field of study and experience in the design, development and management of electrical systems. The candidate must also have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong working knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices. We are willing to consider applicants from outside the country who are legally eligible to work in Doha.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, have the ability to plan ahead and manage multiple tasks at once, as well as demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful applicant should be able to work independently on projects while being able to collaborate with other team members when necessary.

The job description includes but is not limited to:
• Designing electrical systems for new or existing construction projects
• Developing detailed plans, diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and bills of materials
• Planning design processes from concept through completion
• Selecting appropriate materials based on cost effectiveness, reliability and safety requirements
• Analyzing safety requirements including the development of safety standards
• Developing detailed project plans ensuring that all steps are followed correctly
• Maintaining accurate records concerning project progress including design changes or modifications
• Troubleshooting problems with electrical systems

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/education combination • Proven experience in designing, developing and managing electrical systems • Strong understanding of relevant codes and regulations governing electrical systems • Excellent problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing • Legally permitted to work in Doha
