Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Cashier to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customer service in a fast-paced environment, handling cash transactions and maintaining a clean working area. Job Duties:
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and provide them with prompt service.
• Accurately process all cash and credit payments according to established procedures.
• Maintain an accurate daily record of transactions.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy at all times.
• Provide customers with product information or suggestions when requested.
• Respond to customer complaints or inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
• Follow all safety guidelines when operating cash registers or other equipment related to the job position.
• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is sufficient change for customers; record totals on balance sheets, maintain currency levels, etc.
• Bag items securely, count items as they are bagged/unbagged, etc., as per store policies/procedures; check expiration dates on products where applicable; etc.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Prior experience working as a Cashier would be an asset but is not necessary
• Ability to accurately process payments using cash registers
• Strong customer service skills • Excellent communication skills • Good math skills • Ability to work under pressure • Ability to handle large amounts of money with accuracy and speed • Knowledge of security measures related to handling cash • Ability to stand for long periods of time
