Truck Driver - Doha

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate must be able to operate a variety of vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to transport cargo from one place to another. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.

The main responsibilities of the Truck Driver include:
• Operating a wide variety of trucks to transport goods from one place to another in an efficient and timely manner
• Planning routes according to delivery instructions
• Conducting pre-trip inspections on all assigned vehicles
• Ensuring that all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely fashion
• Working with customers to ensure their requirements are met
• Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintaining accurate records of cargo transported, including weight, type of cargo, routes taken etc.
• Performing any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with no major traffic violations
• At least 3 years’ experience driving trucks or similar heavy equipment
• Knowledge of traffic regulations and safety practices
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on trucks such as checking oil levels, tyre pressure etc.

The successful candidate must also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are willing to consider applicants who are immigrants as well as those with valid work permits. Salary is 1800 per month.
