Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mason to join our team in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for constructing and repairing a variety of masonry structures such as walls, fireplaces, patios, and other structures. You should have at least 3 years of experience in the field and be familiar with the use of different tools, materials, and construction methods. The salary for this position is 1100 QAR per month. We are open to considering candidates from outside the country as well.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Measure walls or other structures to ascertain dimensions or materials needed
• Cut or shape stone blocks or slabs to specified size using hand or power tools
• Mix mortar or grout used in masonry work with water and cement according to prescribed recipes
• Spread mortar on top of bricks for binding them together securely
• Place blocks in position and secure with mortar to form walls or other structures
• Cover surfaces with a waterproof coating to prevent damage from water leakage
• Clean masonry surfaces using brushes and/or water streams
• Repair existing brickwork as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment used during masonry work
• Follow all safety regulations when working onsite

Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a vocational training program in masonry preferred
• At least 3 years of experience as a Mason required
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to construction projects
• Proficiency in using various hand tools such as trowels, chisels, etc.
• Physically fit with the strength necessary to lift heavy objects

• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good communication skills
