Data Analyst

Doha is an exciting, fast-paced city that is home to a diverse range of people, cultures and opportunities. We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team and help us take advantage of the data available in the city. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and interpreting large data sets to identify trends, correlations and patterns, as well as developing reports to share insights with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mathematics or statistics, along with excellent problem-solving skills. Experience with data mining tools and software is also essential. The Data Analyst should have the ability to work well under pressure while paying attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Gather large datasets from a variety of sources such as surveys, customer databases, market research etc.
• Analyze data for trends, correlations and patterns using advanced statistical methods and software such as SPSS or SAS.
• Develop reports that share insights from the analysis with stakeholders.
• Design experiments to test hypotheses about customer behaviour or market trends.
• Identify opportunities for improvement based on analysis results.
• Work with other teams such as marketing or product development to interpret results and suggest actionable steps.
• Monitor performance of existing strategies using data analysis techniques and report findings back to stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Proven experience with data mining tools (SPSS/SAS) and software (SQL/R).
• Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with strong attention to detail. • Ability to interpret complex data sets quickly and accurately. • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal English language proficiency required; Arabic language proficiency beneficial but not essential). • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment . • Experience working in multicultural environments beneficial but not essential). • Willingness to relocate for the position (preferred but not essential). Salary: 1500 Doha per month
