Land surveyor in Zayed City, UAE


We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Zayed City. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, using surveying instruments and researching land records.

The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of the surveying process and the ability to use specialised equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, levels and transits. They must also be able to read plans, interpret data and analyse results. Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Understanding the project requirements and selecting appropriate surveying methods
- Setting out survey points using the latest surveying equipment
- Collecting data using total station, GPS systems and other instruments
- Processing data to calculate coordinates of survey points
- Writing detailed technical reports on survey results
- Keeping accurate records of survey activities in accordance with company policies
- Ensuring accuracy in all measurements taken
- Maintaining equipment in good condition

Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Surveying or related fields
- Proven work experience in Surveying or related fields
- Extensive knowledge of modern surveying techniques and instruments
- Computer literate with excellent understanding of GIS software
- Ability to interpret plans and drawings accurately
