We are looking for an experienced, reliable and talented Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and banking activities.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in accounting is required. The ability to operate various types of computer software is essential. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) would be advantageous.

The primary responsibilities of the Accountant include:
• Preparing financial statements and reports that comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Preparing budget reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
• Maintaining accounting records by making accurate entries into appropriate accounts
• Reconciling bank statements and accounts regularly
• Providing financial advice to management on short-term and long-term planning activities
• Checking invoices for accuracy before payments are made
• Evaluating financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts

The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, good interpersonal skills as well as be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are willing to consider both local and foreign candidates for this position with a salary of 1700 AED per month depending on experience.
