Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The position offers a salary of 1500 with the potential to grow as the successful candidate meets and exceeds expectations. We are open to considering applicants from all backgrounds, including immigrants.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the Civil Engineering field and possess a desire to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for conducting research, designing, developing and overseeing projects related to the construction or repair of buildings, bridges, roads, dams and other projects.

Responsibilities
• Conduct research on materials used in construction projects and create designs based on those materials
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical data
• Design structures like bridges or buildings that can withstand natural elements such as wind or water
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create designs
• Test construction materials to ensure they meet relevant standards
• Supervise the construction process including laborers and subcontractors
• Monitor progress of construction projects according to schedule
• Problem solve any issues that may arise during the project timeline

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Civil Engineer
• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and safety standards
• Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD)
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
