Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of cashier duties, be able to work quickly and accurately, and possess strong customer service skills. This person will report to the Store Manager and will be responsible for handling financial transactions within our store.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of store products, services, promotions and other related information
- Maintain cleanliness of checkout area
- Assist customers with inquiries or complaints when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or equivalent customer service experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with POS systems is preferred
- Ability to interact politely and professionally with customers
- Ability to remain focused on assigned tasks in a busy environment
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays as required
