We are looking for an experienced Chemist to join our team in Tif. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600 and is open to qualified immigrants.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of chemistry principles and is capable of working independently in a laboratory setting. They must have excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across multiple departments. The ideal candidate should also be well-versed in good laboratory practices, adhering to all safety regulations while conducting experiments and analyses.

Responsibilities include:
• Planning, conducting, and documenting chemical experiments and analyses
• Evaluating data obtained from experiments/analyses
• Developing new methods for analyzing samples
• Writing reports summarizing test results
• Interpreting test data and communicating results with other departments
• Troubleshooting instrumentation or laboratory issues as needed
• Adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Maintaining high-quality standards for all work performed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience as a Chemist.
• Proficiency with common lab techniques such as spectrophotometry, chromatography, etcetera.
• Familiarity with lab safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
