Auto Electrician Vacancy in Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. We are offering a competitive salary of 1700 and are willing to consider foreign applicants for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing a variety of electrical components and systems in vehicles.

Job Summary:
The Auto Electrician will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and installation of all electrical systems in vehicles. This includes identifying faults, replacing parts, testing circuits and wiring, diagnosing problems and responding to customer inquiries. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of mechanics, electronics, wiring diagrams and schematics. They must also possess excellent communication skills as they will be dealing with customers on a regular basis.

Job Responsibilities:
• Inspecting vehicles to identify any electrical problems or malfunctions.
• Diagnose the source of any electrical malfunction or failure using appropriate testing devices such as ohmmeters, ammeters and test lamps.
• Repair, replace or adjust parts such as relays, switches and circuit breakers as required.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics and technical manuals to properly diagnose complex problems with vehicle electrical systems including starters, alternators, lighting systems etc.
• Responding to customer inquiries about automotive problems in person or by phone/email
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle using computerized systems where available
• Ensure that all safety precautions are followed when working on vehicles
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of post-secondary automotive technology courses is an asset
• Must have 3+ years’ experience working with automotive electrical systems • A valid driver’s license is required; must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles • Ability to read wiring diagrams & technical manuals quickly & accurately • Good problem-solving skills & ability to think critically • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively & professionally • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
