Al-Kuwait Florist is looking for an experienced Florist to join our team. This role will involve working with a variety of flowers and plants, creating beautiful floral arrangements, and helping customers choose appropriate gifts.

The successful candidate for this role should have a strong knowledge of flowers, plants, and the latest trends in the floral industry. They should be creative and have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, as well as possess excellent problem solving skills. The ideal candidate should also be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:
• Creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for special occasions, weddings, funerals and other events
• Designing custom flower arrangements based on customer requests
• Providing advice on choosing appropriate flowers for specific occasions
• Keeping flower coolers stocked with fresh flowers
• Updating records of flower orders and deliveries
• Preparing bouquets in a timely manner according to customer specifications
• Wrapping bouquets or other gifts appropriately
• Maintaining a clean workspace at all times.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 1-3 years experience working in a florist’s shop or similar environment
• Knowledge of popular flower varieties, their seasonality and availability
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining high standards
• Excellent communication skills with customers
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
