Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Doha. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of working independently and as part of a team. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing mechanical engineering projects and systems.

The Mechanical Engineer will be expected to:
-Develop plans, design specs, drawings, schematics and cost estimates as needed.
-Provide technical support throughout the life cycle of projects.
-Perform calculations using standard formulas to determine project requirements.
-Identify potential problems with mechanical engineering designs and make recommendations for improvement.
-Conduct research into new materials, technologies, components and systems that can improve performance or reduce costs.
-Analyze test results and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
-Carry out routine maintenance on machinery or equipment to ensure optimal performance.
-Train staff on the use of new machinery or equipment when necessary.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required; Master's degree is preferred
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering is required
• Sound knowledge in CAD software (SolidWorks)
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to multi task • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Technical writing skills with the ability to produce high quality documents

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in English language (speaking/reading/writing) is essential for this role as this role requires frequent interaction with clients from abroad

• Valid Qatar driving license is preferred but not required
