Accountant in Doha, Qatar


We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Doha. This position is open to immigrants and offers a salary of 1500.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, experienced professional with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include:

- Developing and maintaining accurate financial records
- Preparing financial reports and summaries for management
- Analyzing financial data and preparing reports for stakeholders
- Performing month-end close processes, such as bank reconciliations, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, etc.
- Assisting with budgeting processes and tracking expenses against budget allocations
- Analyzing data related to costs of goods manufactured (COGM) and other cost metrics
- Supporting audit processes as needed
- Adhering to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, experience working in an accounting role and knowledge of GAAP. Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required. We are also open to considering candidates who have no prior experience but have the right attitude and aptitude for the job.
