Radiologist Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Radiologist to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging services, interpreting medical images and determining appropriate diagnoses. The Radiologist will work with a team of medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and show a dedication to patient care. A strong background in diagnostic imaging and a commitment to continuing education is essential for this role. The successful candidate must also be licensed and certified by the relevant board in the UAE.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, ultrasounds, CT scans, and PET scans
• Interpret medical images and determine appropriate diagnoses
• Communicate results or findings with other members of the healthcare team
• Provide consultations on test results with other healthcare providers
• Ensure patient safety during tests by following safety protocols
• Follow established standards of practice when performing tasks
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and techniques in radiology
• Maintain accurate records of all tests conducted and results reported.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology or related field from an accredited institution
• License and certification from the relevant board in the UAE is preferred but not required • At least 4 years of experience as a Radiologist or similar role in a hospital setting or health care provider office • Knowledge of safety protocols related to radiation exposure • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • A commitment to continuing education.
