Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sommelier to join our dynamic team in Dubai. Our ideal candidate should have experience in the hospitality industry and a passion for wines and providing excellent service to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice on wines, creating a balanced wine list that meets all customer needs, and educating customers about wine service.

Job Responsibilities
The Sommelier’s main responsibilities include:
• Advising customers on selecting appropriate wines according to their individual tastes and preferences
• Creating a wine list that includes varieties from different countries, including both old world and new world wines • Ensuring all bottles are stored properly in order to maintain the quality of each vintage
• Educating customers about wines through tastings, pairings, classes or other useful methods • Assisting customers with their orders at the table or bar during service • Maintaining records of wine purchases and sales • Keeping up-to-date with newly available products by attending trade shows or tasting events • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations when serving alcoholic beverages at tables or bars

Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have: • A minimum of two years working experience as a Sommelier • A diploma in hospitality management or similar field • Excellent knowledge in food pairing with wines • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service • Fluent English language skills; other language is an advantage • Willingness to relocate to Dubai if necessary We are ready to consider applicants from foreign countries; valid work permit is required. The salary offered is 1800 AED per month.
