Civil Engineer in Doha, Qatar


We are looking for an experienced civil engineer to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and constructing a variety of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, dams and other infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in civil engineering or a related field. We also require a minimum of two years of experience in civil engineering design and construction. The candidate must also be knowledgeable in the use of AutoCAD or other relevant software.

The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing, developing and implementing civil engineering projects according to client specifications
- Preparing detailed drawings, plans and calculations with AutoCAD
- Managing project resources including personnel, equipment and materials
- Assisting with soil testing and analyzing survey data
- Monitoring progress on sites to ensure safety standards are met
- Ensuring that all designs meet applicable laws, regulations and standards
- Investigating potential risks or problems associated with projects
- Supervising the work of junior engineers or technicians.

The successful applicant should have excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail. They should also demonstrate excellent communication skills when working with colleagues, clients and stakeholders. They must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. As this role requires some travel to different locations within Qatar, a valid driver’s license is essential for this position.
