Civil Engineer (Qatar)

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of various civil engineering projects. You will be working with clients to ensure their projects meet all safety standards and regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Develop plans and designs for new civil engineering projects or modifications to existing ones
-Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
-Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify potential problems and assess the feasibility of proposed projects
-Direct construction activities to ensure projects are completed according to design specifications and within budget
-Inspect project sites during construction stages to monitor progress and ensure conformance with design specifications
-Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans
-Prepare cost estimates for materials or labor
-Assist in the review of contractor bids prior to award of contract

Qualifications & Skills:
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university/college
-Minimum 5 years experience working as a Civil Engineer on large scale engineering projects
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi task -Strong problem solving skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English -Proficient in AutoCAD software -Ability to read blueprints -Knowledge of local codes & regulations associated with civil engineering
