Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This position requires a responsible individual who is capable of driving a variety of vehicles safely and efficiently, while meeting all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in both urban and rural environments, as well as the ability to troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise. In addition to this, the successful applicant will be expected to take all necessary safety precautions when on the job.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all safety regulations are followed at all times.
• Load and unload cargo according to delivery instructions.
• Maintain accurate records, including delivery documentation, logs and other required paperwork as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical problems on a regular basis and perform preventative maintenance when necessary.
• Make sure cargo is properly loaded and secured before each trip.
• Follow routes and time schedules as instructed by management.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery status or other information related to their order.
• Cooperate with co-workers to ensure efficient deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Report any accidents or incidents that occur during transit to management immediately.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience driving trucks or other commercial vehicles in Qatar required .
• Valid Class 3 license in Qatar with clean driving record .
• Proven ability to drive safely for long periods of time . • Knowledge of transportation laws, safety regulations, roadways and traffic patterns in Qatar . • Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems . • Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures . • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written . • Outstanding organizational skills . • Physically fit enough for lifting heavy items when needed . • Willingness to work nights, weekends or overtime if needed
