Truck Driver Vacancy

We are looking for a professional Truck Driver to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our trucks and delivering goods safely and on schedule. You must be reliable, organized, and knowledgeable with road laws and regulations.

Requirements:
- Valid license to drive a truck in Qatar
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a truck driver
- Excellent knowledge of roads in Doha and surrounding areas
- Ability to read maps and follow directions
- Ability to lift heavy packages
- Good communication skills
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Immigrant status accepted

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that goods are securely loaded onto the truck before departing from the warehouse.
- Drive the truck according to the established schedule while adhering to all applicable traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made including quantity of goods, destination, route taken and time of delivery.
- Communicate with dispatch personnel regarding any delays or problems encountered during delivery.
- Perform pre & post trip inspections on the truck in accordance with company standards.

Job Duties:
- Deliver goods within Doha and surrounding areas in a timely manner.
- Follow safety procedures for loading / unloading cargo as per company guidelines.
- Fuel the vehicle as necessary and monitor fluid levels frequently throughout each trip. - Report any accidents or damage to vehicles immediately upon occurrence.
