Pharmacist Vacancy – Riyadh

We are looking for an experienced pharmacist to join our team in Riyadh. This position offers a salary of 1600 and we are open to considering an immigrant for this role.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing advice and guidance on the usage of medications, and ensuring that appropriate safety measures are taken when handling medications. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records of patient information and handle any customer inquiries in a professional manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Dispensing medications according to prescriptions given by healthcare professionals.
• Checking dosage instructions and expiry dates of medications.
• Advising customers on the correct usage of prescribed medication.
• Liaising with medical staff regarding patient treatment plans.
• Maintaining accurate records of patient information, including prescriptions, allergies, etc.
• Answering customer inquiries regarding medical products and services in a polite manner.
• Keeping up-to-date with developments in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed when handling medications.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field is required for this position; Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Valid certification as a pharmacist from authorized accreditation body is essential; experience as a pharmacist is desirable but not compulsory. • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; ability to answer customer queries in a polite manner with accuracy is essential for this role. • Ability to stay updated with developments in the pharmaceutical industry; knowledge of health regulations applicable to pharmacies is highly desired but not mandatory for this position. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and other relevant software applications; experience using electronic medical records systems would be considered an asset
